Computer society of india(CSI) is the oldest and largest organisation
of IT professionals in India having 25,000 members and 63
chapters and more than 200 Students Branches across the
country exclusively focusing on the interest of the IT
Professionals.
•Encourage and assist the professionals engaged in these fields to maintain the integrity and competence of the profession and
Foster a sense of partnership amongst the professionals, engaged
in these fields
•CSI promotes and provides financial support for research
work in contemporary areas in IT and Computer Science.
•For the benefit of members, the chapter organizes monthly technical meetings, product presentations, exhibitions, film and video shows.
The chapters also host Regional, Divisional, National, International events along with the sponsoring agencies.
Student Activities
Many of the CSI Student Branches organize state level student conventions and technology festivals. CSI also conducts the Regional
and National level contests at various centres across the country and selects teams of students to impart them technical training.
It even sponsors the selected student in International Contest.

•20% discount on membership of IEEE Computer Society (IEEE-CS)
•CSI publishes “CSI Communications" (monthly) which are mailed to members.
•Discount on registration fee for all events conducted by CSI.
•CSI promotes and provides financial support for research work in contemporary areas in IT and Computer Science.
•Members whose papers are selected for presentation in leading International conferences such as VLDB, ICDE etc can approach CSI for travel support to attend such conferences. The financial assistance up to Rs 50,000/- for hardware projects and up to Rs 30,000/- for software projects would be provided to cover items like equipment, books/journals, field work, questionnaire, computation work and report writing.
HOW TO BECOME A CSI MEMBER.?
To Join CSI, Student will have to deposit their csi form completely filled along with demand draft to CSi college group . Demand Draft should be in favour of “Computer Society of India” payable at Mumbai.
Student who will directly send their form to Mumbai their name will not be added in college chapter.
Student Membership cost-:
Rs. 200 for 1 year
Rs. 350 for 2 years
Rs. 450 for 3 years
Rs 600 for 4 years
